Expanding women's possibilities

We want to bring together women who share experiences, challenges, knowledge and goals, creating a community where it's possible to build new personal and professional bonds.

Especially for those who live far from their families, their culture and the networks that once were part of their lives, we want to provide an environment where they can feel welcomed, respected and included.

Because building a new life also means building new relationships.

Many opportunities are missed simply because the information didn't reach the person who needed it.

We want to bring women closer to information, professionals and resources that can help them better understand the possibilities available in important areas of their lives.

Through talks, workshops, gatherings, content and partnerships, we seek to make knowledge more accessible and applicable to the reality of our community.

We want to encourage women to develop new skills, recognize the capabilities they already have and acquire knowledge that can expand their personal and professional possibilities.

This can mean learning something new, going back to school, developing English, preparing for the job market, returning to a profession, structuring an idea, developing a business or discovering a completely different path.

There is not just one way to grow.

Our goal is to create opportunities so each woman can discover her own.

We want to support women who want to start businesses and also those who already own their own businesses.

Through networking, education, promotion, partnerships, sharing of experiences and connection with professionals and other entrepreneurs, we seek to create an environment where businesses led by women can gain knowledge, visibility and new opportunities.

We also want to encourage our own community to get to know, refer and support businesses created by women.

When women do business with women, refer women and create opportunities for one another, the whole community grows stronger.

We want to be a bridge between capability and opportunity.

We can't always directly offer what a woman is looking for, but we can work to build a network that knows where to find, whom to ask and with whom to connect.

Our goal is not to create dependency on Empower Her.

It's exactly the opposite.

We want information, knowledge, connections and opportunities to contribute so each woman has more conditions to make her own decisions and build the path that makes sense for her reality.

Real transformation happens when a woman stops asking only “who can do this for me?” and also begins to discover:

“What can I build from here?”

We want to build a community where receiving help and offering help are part of the same movement.

At a certain moment, a woman may come looking for guidance, information, an opportunity or simply a warm welcome.

Later on, that same woman may have an experience, a contact, knowledge or an opportunity capable of transforming another woman's path.

That's why we want to encourage each member of our community to think not only:

“What can Empower Her offer me?”

but also:

“What can I share with another woman?”

That's how a community becomes a network.

We want to create spaces where women can showcase their talents, professions, businesses, stories and knowledge.

Through our events, platforms, content, partnerships and initiatives, we want to expand the visibility of the women in our community and create opportunities for them to be known, recognized and connected to new people.

Because often talent is not what's missing.

What's missing is the opportunity for it to be seen.

Empower Her doesn't need to — and doesn't intend to — do everything alone.

We want to build relationships with professionals, companies, organizations, educational institutions and other partners capable of expanding the resources and opportunities available to the women in our community.

A strong network isn't one that has all the answers.

It's one that knows how to connect people to the right answers.
